Terms of Service

Effective July 18, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Donate2Support (the "Platform"), operated by Donate2Support ("Donate2Support," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, running or participating in a Campaign, making a donation, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. See also our Privacy Policy and TCPA / texting disclosures, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

1. Who Can Use Donate2Support

The Platform is used by schools, teams, and other groups ("Groups") to run donation-based fundraising campaigns ("Campaigns"), by the students and team members who run them ("Sellers"), by people who assist a Seller ("Helpers"), and by the people who support a Campaign ("Donors" or "Supporters").

Because Sellers are often minors, a Group (such as a school, program, or team) is responsible for obtaining any parent or guardian consent required before a Seller participates, and for ensuring the Campaign complies with the Group's own policies. A parent or guardian may act on a minor Seller's behalf at any time.

2. Campaigns and Fundraising

Donate2Support provides the technology to run a Campaign — it does not organize, endorse, or guarantee the outcome of any Campaign. Groups and Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information they post about a Campaign and for how any funds raised are ultimately used.

There is no upfront cost for a Group to run a Campaign. Groups may optionally choose to pass along a processing fee (currently up to 5.99%) to Donors at checkout; Groups keep any such fee in full. Donors are never charged a mandatory tip or convenience fee by Donate2Support. Current payout terms are described to Groups at the time a Campaign is set up and may be updated from time to time.

3. Donations

Donations are processed securely through our payment processor, Stripe. By donating, you authorize Donate2Support and Stripe to charge the payment method you provide for the donation amount (plus any optional processing fee you elect to cover). Donations are voluntary contributions to support a Campaign and are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or in cases of billing error, unauthorized charges, or fraud — contact us using the information in Section 13 if you believe a refund is warranted.

4. Accounts and Security

Sellers, Helpers, and Donors are identified through secure links and tokens rather than traditional passwords in most cases; administrators log in through a secured admin portal. You're responsible for keeping any link, token, or login credential associated with your account confidential, and for all activity that occurs through it.

5. Text Messaging and Email

By providing a phone number or email address and consenting to be contacted, you agree to receive messages related to Campaigns as described in our TCPA page and Privacy Policy. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and out of emails using the unsubscribe link in any message.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Misrepresent yourself, a Campaign, or the purpose for which funds are being raised
  • Import, upload, or submit contact information for people without a reasonable basis to invite them to support a Campaign they'd genuinely be connected to
  • Send spam, harassing messages, or unsolicited communications through the Platform
  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Platform
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates the rights of others

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform, for a Group, Seller, Helper, or Donor, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

7. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of photos, messages, and other content you submit to the Platform (such as a Seller's profile photo or a Donor's message). By submitting content, you grant Donate2Support a non-exclusive license to display, store, and use that content as needed to operate the Platform and the Campaign it relates to. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you upload.

8. Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on third-party services — including Stripe for payments, Twilio for text messaging, SendGrid for email, and, if you choose to connect your Google account, Google's contacts services. Your use of those integrations is also subject to the applicable third party's own terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any Campaign will meet its fundraising goal.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Donate2Support will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of funds, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amount of fees, if any, paid by you to Donate2Support in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Donate2Support harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Contact Us
